Dr Lee Jasson BDSc (UWA)

Dr Lee Jasson graduated from The University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1994.

Once completing her degree, she commenced work immediately as a relief dentist for Dental Health Services filling roles at Fremantle, Busselton and Bunbury. After growing up in the country, her passion for the bush drew her back to her home town of Port Hedland where she embarked on her career in private practice.  Working in an isolated and remote location enabled her to grow and develop as a general dentist gaining experience in all aspects of dentistry.

In 1996 at the age of 24, an opportunity arose for her to purchase her own private practice in Karratha. She embraced the challenge and embarked on her path as a small business owner and all the highs and lows that accompany owning your own practice.

Lee owned and run Nickol Bay Dental Clinic for 12 years from 1996 to 2008 and in this time married and had 2 daughters. Bringing them up while still trying to work full time.

In 2008 a plan was made for Lee and her family to work towards relocating back to Perth to be closer to family. She was fortunate to sell her much loved practice that year to an employee dentist who had the same passion for the country lifestyle and commitment to her patients. Lee continued to work and support the clinic for a further two years making sure there was a comfortable transition for all involved.

In 2010 Lee and her family shifted to Perth where they have lived ever since. She had a six month break from working to settle her family into city life.

In December 2010, Lee commenced work part time at Southbridge Dental in South Perth for friends of hers. She has continued to work there since carrying out all aspects of General Dentistry.

Lee is an active member of the ITI/STraumann WA Study Group & the Dental Study Group of WA. She is a registered with the Dental Board of Australia.

She also carried out relief work as a clinical tutor from 2012-2014 at The Oral Health Centre of WA.

Her interests include keeping fit and active, camping, fishing and has a love of the outdoors. She is actively involved in her teenage daughter’s sporting clubs/activities and enjoys watching and supporting them along the way.

Lee is a gentle, caring and professional clinician with a keen interest in preventative and restorative dentistry.
